Menya Ikkaku is located in Nakajima, north of Toyama City.

If you go by car, it is about 5 minutes from Toyama Station. There is a parking lot that can accommodate 7 cars.

Also accessible by light railTake the Toyamako Line bound for Iwasehama Station and get off at Nakajima Station or Shirokawahara Station, then it's a 6-minute walk from there.

The soup has a deep flavor with the aroma of dried sardines. The ingredients are chicken char siu, onion, bamboo shoots, and seaweed.

The noodles are thin and the chicken char siu is light and tender.

The soup, ingredients, and noodles all have a good balance.

Rich Tonkotsu and Dried Sardine Ramen (June 2022)

Rich tonkotsu ramen with dried sardines topped with seasoned egg (950 yen).

The rich soup is made from a combination of dried sardines and pork bones. The ingredients are pork char siu, onions, bamboo shoots, and seaweed.

The noodles are medium thick and go well with the rich soup.

Mazesoba

This is Mazesoba (850 yen including tax). The ingredients are roasted pork, fish powder, onion, egg yolk, bamboo shoots, and seaweed.
